Hello-

Welcome to my blog!

It is my desire that you would find this to be a place where your heart is encouraged. As we honestly share our journey with you, in all of its ups and downs, it is my prayer that you would be comforted in your own. We are passionate about adoption, yet realistic about its challenges. Our deepest hope and prayer is that our children would find the hope and healing that comes from a personal relationship with the Lord, and we ask for His grace and wisdom as we walk with them through whatever heights or valleys may come on the way.

David and I have been happily married for over 26 years. We have 11 children; 2 biological, 2 state-side adoptions and 7 from Ethiopia. David and I met while attending Western Washington University. He now works in the Seattle area for a medical company while I work part-time for Ibsen Adoption Network and manage the household. Ours has been anything but a slow-paced, relaxing life but it has been such a fun adventure and we wouldn't want to have it any other way.
